Welcome to #octoberplank

Once a year, in October, we arrange the event #octoberplank. This is the perfect time to build a strong core!

Core strength is the foundation of an active life, and every runner should focus on building core stability. Doing planks is one effective way to build strength, but during #octoberplank we’ll combine many different exercises to build a solid core. The plank itself is a way to measure your progress, and of course, a fun exercise if you like to challenge yourself!

This is what the event looked like 2017!


THIS IS HOW YOU DO IT

  1. Stand in plank position for as long as you can (day 1). 
    Post your result on the Facebook event page or on Instagram or Twitter using the tag #octoberplank.
  2. Train your core as you’ve never done before (day 2 - day 30).
    Join the fun challenges that will be presented along the way!
  3. Test yourself with a plank again on the 31:st of October and aim for a huge improvement!
    Again, post your result on the Facebook event page or on Instagram or Twitter using the tag #octoberplank.
